THANKS FROM PROJECT NIGHT NIGHT!

"For the second year in a row, we have received amazing help from Dennis and his Soundwaves Christmas team. They collected six boxes of blankets, books, and stuffed animals, a tremendous feat in general but given the economic conditions in 2009 and 2010 this support was a true gift. The donations permitted us to serve homeless children who would otherwise have remained on our waiting list. No one deserves to go without special nighttime comforts, especially at the holiday season. We couldn't have done it without you!"

A massive, 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. The damage to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to be over 100,000. Your gift will help rush emergency supplies to survivors of this catastrophe. Your gift now will help distribute life-saving relief supplies including food, clean water, blankets, medical supplies and tents to children and families devastated by the earthquake and aftershocks in Haiti. Thank you for your generous gift in this time of need.

THANKS FOR WATCHING THE 2009 SOUNDWAVES CHRISTMAS PARTY!

The Soundwaves Christmas Party celebrated its milestone 20th anniversary with a broadcasting event that brought the annual fundraiser its widest audience to date. Thanks to the efforts of Comcast, the show was seen live on Pacifica Community Television and Peninsula TV throughout San Mateo Country.

Soundwaves Christmas is an energetic rock and roll charity show, with live musical acts, special guests and segments. The show partnered with Serramonte Center to “Spread the Cheer,” collecting non-perishable food, gently-worn clothing and unopened toys for local non-profit agencies and charities.

If you missed the live show, you're still invited to drop off physical items at Serramonte Center. Among the recipients of donations will be:

The Pacifica Resource Center
North Peninsula Food Pantry and Dining Center of Daly City
One Warm Coat
Project Night Night
The Pacifica Youth Services Bureau
The North County Fire Authority for their Operation Santa Claus toy drive.

There's still time to help! Please sign up at the Soundwaves Christmas FACEBOOK GROUP for the latest news, info and how you can help your community!
